This painting was created with the battles, losses, survivors, the total exhaustion and more in mind of those that served in Gallipoli (and other wars).  It portrays the fact that after these traumatic battles that from out of the dust and dirt and horror – survivors and heroes do come home.  Not all are lost.  Although some of those pour soldiers came home mere ghosts of the those that actually left to fight for their country.  Please note this particular piece of artwork was held by me for gentleman to pay for when he had the money, I did so for over 18 months.  Another gentleman whom had seen the painting 6 months prior to the 18 months terminating had wanted to buy it but I explained the situation.  After much persuasion from my husband and other friends I decided one Sunday to place this piece back on the market so to speak.  Whilst meeting up with friends at a venue in this valley I bumped into the second gentleman that wished to buy Emergence – Ghosts of Gallipoli and he enquired as to its availability.  I said that was quite the coincidence as I had just put it up for sale again, he immiediately supplied his credit card details and info and it was sold that week.  This unique piece of artwork now lives at the Wokalup Tavern, WA.  The now owner of Emergence – Ghosts of Gallipoli I believe is very happy to be the proud owner of same.
