Joyce has a long history of suppporting the local South West communtity, both through the donation of her time, talents and artwork to help fund raising efforts for many groups.
Joyce instigated the Dardanup Art Spectacular and ran it for 2 years as well as the Bull & Barrel Art Exhibition (5 years) and the Art Exhibition Space at the Sanctuary Golf Resort and where she was the first artist to exhibit there.
She was the first solo artist to exhibit at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
